Recap of Past 2 Weeks

Things at work are going pretty well, I'm enjoying the feeling of getting paid despite maybe not liking my job completely but it's only temporary while I get experience in the field of working. I'm not enjoying having to use most of my paycheck to cover rent but I know it's necessary now that I'm the man of the house. Anyways besides that not much else is going on, I've definitely matured significantly and become extremely more confident with myself, more so than I have in my entire life and I like it. I saw I Am Legend last night on opening night and the movie was awesome. Will Smith really did an excellent job with the role and I believe this is his best acting role and my favorite. I might see it again soon, I don't know. Anyways that's basically all I have to say for right now, there's no where to go but forward, ya know?
Light up the darkness.

I haven't had any real significant changes in my life lately. Right now I'm just working and enjoying life when I get paid. I just bought a 4gb flash drive which I wear around my neck right beside my Crown (Kingdom Hearts) Necklace but besides that no updates.

Quid Pro Quo

happy
So today after stressing out so much over it I finally found a job. I am the new Data Entry Specialist at Pro Quo Books.
It's basically a bookstore/warehouse that collects books, then sends them to bookstores, people who request specific books, or recycles, and one of the best things is that I'm allowed to take home 5 books per day for my own personal collection.
I mean as soon as I stepped in the place there were huge bins called gaylords (try not to laugh, I know I did) filled with books and the job I now hold is Data Entry Specialist, so I'm basically taking the books, entering them into the system, sorting them, and then moving them out and the pay is awesome.
$9.50/hr and it can go up to $14/hr based upon how many books you process and we all know when it comes to using computers and typing my skills stand unrivaled. I personally plan to beat out everyone else there and be making $14/hr range by the end of November or at the latest, the beginning of December. #1 Spot here I come.

Seems like a cool site and way to win an iPod which is what I really need because I do a lot of running but I only have a CD Player and it skips when it gets jostled which obviously running will do.

So check out this site: It's Write Now!
Here's the contest post: Win An iPod Nano

Random Thoughts

mood:
nauseated
The woman at the computer 2 seats down from me in the Library smells like she poured the whole bottle of perfume over her. The perfume is slowly creeping up my nose and is making me nauseous as well as making my eyes water. Someone needs to tell her it's not the quantity but the quality...then again she abused both anyways.

Skip Back A Chapter
Oct. 25th, 2007 | 06:14 pm

mood:
indifferent
I've been 18 for close to 2 weeks. I don't feel any different though now that I've reached this supposedly "special" age. I still feel like I'm waiting for something but I'm not sure what it is.
Sometimes, if not all the time, I wish life was like a DVD and that you can just hit a button on a remote and it goes back to the beginning of whatever chapter you wish and repeat it or write over and change it. Sadly, life isn't like that and once something has happened, it's impossible to go back into the past and change it.
Life needs an undo button which can be used at will to change mistakes you've made or make different choices. There are numerous things in my past I regret that I wish I could go back and change. Everything is 20/20 in hindsight. I guess though the only thing to do though is to keep moving forward and not let it get to you to much. I don't often let the past drag me down but sometimes when I'm just sitting down and left with my thoughts they just begin to surface. I'm just glad that when these thoughts begin to surface I can always go outside and lay back in the grass and watch the sky and clouds go by, or look the stars at night time, or stand in the rain. Without these things I'm sure I'd have been lost a long time ago.

Since everyone else has things they really want in life and put it on their personal wishlists in the hopes that some kind person will buy it for them I've decided to start one of my own.
Here's my list:
1. Ninj4 Hooded Sweatshirt (Large)

2. Megatokyo Messenger Bag

3. Sony W80 Cybershot Digital Camera (Black)

4. XBOX 360
